Another way patients can make sure they stay healthy is by adhering to their dialysis time, which is affected by several different factors. Hear what goes into calculating a patient’s dialysis time and why it is so important to adhere to it. Additionally, Dr. Scantlebury explains what a “perfect match” means for transplant patients, which is based on six genetic markers, and why it’s far more common to have a “zero mismatch”.
