The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari guides you as you create your own path in life. Maybe you feel trapped in your current job, and it’s been years since you received a promotion. Perhaps your family has wanted you to join their business since you were young, but you want to go to school and discover other options. By stepping outside of those limitations, you are able to find the route in life that works best for you while also inspiring others to follow their passions.
Our first caller, Naomi, is a teacher searching for tips on how to confront parents of kids with possible special needs. Nancy recommends that, to start, Naomi searches the internet for success stories related to the disability or problem at hand. If she can share those stories and focus on positive outlooks, it will be easier to address the issue and get the child the support they need. Tune in to hear how you can overcome complicated situations and improve communication in your own life.
Our second caller, Terra, is dealing with anxiety and wants to know what she can do to help herself when she is feeling overwhelmed. Nancy encourages Terra to remember that she’s overcome these feelings before and can do it again. Nancy continues to explain that Terra should focus on what she has control over rather than what is out of her hands. Listen to learn how you can overcome stress in your life and enjoy a more peaceful mind.
Our inspirational guest, Jeff Float, became legally deaf as a young child after battling meningitis. Despite this, at age seven he discovered his passion for swimming, and soon developed Olympic aspirations. He learned many different tricks to help him overcome his deafness in the pool and was surrounded by supportive parents, role models, and swim coaches. After 17 years of training, Jeff qualified for the Olympics and was allowed to compete for his country in 1984, where he and his team were awarded the gold medal in the 4x200 meter relay. By chasing his dreams and creatively overcoming his hearing disability, he was able to create his own path, which led him to phenomenal achievements. Tune in to learn more about Jeff’s story and how he’s taken his future into his own hands.
Our final caller, Trish, suffers from bouts of depression and needs advice for how to talk to her husband about her mental health. Nancy suggests that Trish approach the conversation in a way that will be most effective in getting her points across to her spouse. Nancy also recommends that Trish break up the information-sharing into several smaller pieces to give her husband time to process and react appropriately. Listen in to learn how you can gracefully address uncomfortable topics with your friends and family.
Maybe you’re struggling to rediscover your passion. Perhaps you’ve always wanted to learn how to dance. Many of us have sat and watched as the chances to try new things fly past, but you can take control of your future years. By creating your own path in life, you provide yourself with the opportunities and time you need to figure out what makes you happiest as you live full out.
