Three questions:
- Oh God, where is your justice?
- Oh God, why do we need refining?
- Oh God, will you answer our cries for justice?
‘What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. This is he of whom it is written, “Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you." Matthew 11:9-10
"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord." Romans 12:19
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
Three implications of God's judgment:
- Forgiveness is possible
- Justice is Necessary
- Peace is Attainable
