Stephen serves as President Multicultural Marketing & Communications, R&CPMK and Head of Inclusive Diversity, OSEN Worldwide, one of the world’s leading sports and entertainment communications firms. His work focuses on strategies that connect his clients with diverse audiences and has represented many top global brands.
It’s a big birthday month for Jayzen, as he turned 50 this week and he takes a moment to reflect on his own career and brand with the milestone.

In his role, Macias leads R&CPMK’s Multicultural Marketing & Communications division, focused on creating and executing communications initiatives, marketing partnerships, and programs that further connect the agency’s high-profile brand and talent clients to consumers and organizations in the LGBTQ+ community, communities of color, and female driven initiatives. Additionally, Macias helps drive DE&I strategy, campaigns, and efforts for Octagon’s global collection of athlete, personality, and brand clients. Macias also guides strategy and efforts dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion across the full Octagon Sports and Entertainment Network six agency portfolio, including internal and external programming, global initiatives, and partnerships.
Macias has served as President of Multicultural Marketing & Communications, R&CPMK, since January 2022, and assumed his current expanded role in March of 2023. He joined the agency as Executive Vice President Entertainment and Multicultural Practice Lead in 2020. Under Macias’ leadership, R&CPMK’s industry-leading Multicultural Marketing & Communications practice has significantly advanced DE&I efforts and conversations across the entertainment industry, driven millions of dollars in traditional and earned media focused on amplifying important societal conversations, and created progressive integrated content initiatives that have further connected brands and talent with diverse and emerging audiences, communities, and consumers.
Prior to joining R&CPMK, Macias served as Senior Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion Practice Lead at MWWPR. In that role, he was responsible for overseeing LGBTQ+ and multicultural marketing and programming for existing and incoming clients, managing LGBTQ+ and multicultural resources within the firm, and serving as MWWPR’s steward for issues pertaining to public relations associated with diverse communities.
During his career, Macias has worked across the entertainment, sports, CPG, travel and tourism and media landscape with companies like; Comcast, McDonald’s, Hasbro, EOne, TikTok, Major League Baseball, SailGP Focus Features, FX, Netflix, United Artists Releasing, Amazon Studios, Kellogg’s, Frito-Lay, and Hilton Worldwide.
Prior to joining MWWPR (MikeWorldWide), Macias founded Macias Media Group LLC., where he grew the agency into one of the top boutique PR firms specifically targeting the LGBTQ+ community. Previously, Macias spent eight years as Executive Vice President and GM for Here Media Inc., overseeing iconic media brands, including The Advocate and OUT magazine, and served as Entertainment Media Director for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). Macias has spoken at numerous conferences over the years as a subject matter expert from the National Hispanic Leadership Conference to the Public Relations Society of America, was named to PRWeeks inaugural Top LGBTQ PR Professionals of the year and was a 2020 graduate of IPG’s annual Leadership Lab. He has also held a succession of senior leadership positions and worked with numerous leading non-profits and organizations in the LGBTQ+ community, including the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, Outfest, the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, Equality California, the U.N., and the Global Equality Fund.
