The citizens only have three options. By pointing out mess we already see and going "look we are one of you haha, right?" while seeing stuff fall apart slowly takes away one of the options from the more....passionate of citizens. Like so freaking useless. Like go ahead and do it. Look up what these senators and representatives do on a daily basis and you'll be in shock. They are useless. No wonder they wanna stay in office forever and be in their freaking 90s still running. Its the easiest job in the world. Just sit, talk, go to events, make money. I shall vote third party anytime I vote now. I dont give af anymore. And no, I personally will not being doing those other citizen options... aint no way. There was a time when we once did, but that was when the politicians were all practically of the same viewpoint and just subtly different. Now they are so divided and dissimilar in a competitive fashion that we can never have a strategy that isn’t canceled by the next party in power. Now due to this inability for long-term thinking, other countries who have a more centralized political structure will forever be able to strategize in a more beneficial way for their country and take advantage of our failures.…

Yes, we have finally hit the point of no return. We are at an impasse where every country we once mocked is now doing better and better. Not only that, but they are surpassing us in some ways. The lead we had once is no more. Everything we see is an outcome of this realization. We have become so desperate to block this newly created river from flowing that the floods of change will affect our entire country...perhaps in an irrecoverable way. We have nothing to blame but ourselves. But hey, we won't learn our lessons anyway, so why care? Just let it happen at this point. Maybe after 40% of all new jobs "created" in America are outsourced, and the only jobs the people have at home are gig economy, we will finally begin to admit we messed tf up.…

It's so cringe how everything just became a marketing spill every time. "Oh yeah, the whole world is going to collapse when we release this one", "oh yeah, once we release this, all art will become useless", "oh yeah, once we release this, software engineers will be a dead field (please ignore the outsourcing)", "oh yeah, this thing is truly smarter than all mathematicians on Earth, just wait till we release it!!!!!". Like it’s all so tiresome. It’s a level of attention-grabbing desperation for clicks and looks and investment that I just can’t handle anymore. Like imagine if the person who made the calculator was spamming the newspapers about how this changes everything and it can calculate faster than all the mathematicians combined, so surely the world is going to collapse right when it hits store shelves AND math as a field is dead. That’s literally the equivalent. And worse, since social media algorithmic feeds will show you anything that has even a slight trend of clicks or a slight bit of promotion money, then it’s spammed in your feed 50 times a day. Like I DON'T CARE!…

I was applying for jobs and crap and was like "hmm maybe I should save this until AFTER I either get the job or they decline me"....well they declined me, so I guess I can upload. I don't know if it’s the internet advertising trolls more or if politics have truly just become more cringe and useless these days. Like it’s just seeming like politicians are not making decisions for anything other than their own self-aggrandizing power trips or to help their own political careers. I just don’t get it anymore. Like are these politicians even pro-American? I could almost see them flipping sides the moment things get hairy and it becomes obvious America’s foothold globally starts to wane. We truly need a new generation of politicians who actually care, but sadly the people who major in politics seem to be the exact same group, the people who have ambitions for politics end up being the exact same group, and the people who should be in politics don’t have the connections or networking or past experience needed to get their foot in the door. It’s just a big mess. And tbh, I’m not sure what we can do besides a huge atomic shift (No, not literally).…

I'll be honest, I didn't really know all this at all. A couple of podcasts ago, I misspoke and made a slight joke on drug abuse or whatever, and it completely went over my head that it could possibly hit a little too close to home for D'Ante'. I remember like while I was in Hong Kong, he mentioned something about drugs or whatever, but like since I was preoccupied with the stress of Hong Kong, I literally forgot about most of it. Or didn't realize the severity of what he was saying. So like listening to him tell his story; this was like listening and learning completely new. Even then, I didn't know the full details. So this was also the first time I knew what actually happened and also the mystery of why he returned to his faith. This was actually a fully on-topic and interesting podcast. I’m happy D'Ante' was able to move past the addiction and find a faith that helps keep his mind on a good path.…
