John Cee Stannard is best known as founder member of Tudor Lodge, part of the vibrant folk movement of the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s which included bands such as Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span. The first album, Tudor Lodge, released on Vertigo in 1971 enjoys a cult status and is highly collectable. John Cee has remained in the music business, song-writing, performing and recording with Tudor Lodge. In 2011 John Cee’s song-writing took him in a completely different direction. Within a few months there was more than enough material for an album. John was able to obtain his dream and produced The Doob Doo album. He put together a trio in which he is supported by Make Baker, on guitar and Howard Birchmore, on harmonica, both of whom were featured on the album. They appear as John Cee Stannard and Blue Horizon. A therapist and life coach, Shanti Elke Bannwart seeks to offer a new dialogue that explores the resilience of women and children subjected to war; sharing insights into the emotional lives of children of perpetrators and exploring the effects of inter-generational trauma. Dancing On One Foot is an epic memoir told from the author’s perspective as a young child growing up in Nazi Germany. Against the background of a world unraveling before her eyes, she shares her story of war and its’ effect on her and her matriarchal lineage. “In lush and vital language, Shanti Bannwart gives us a rare vision of one of the central stories of the twentieth century. She reveals the deep wound those who enacted genocide inflicted upon their children, leaving many of her generation at war with their families and within their own hearts.” - Anya Achtenberg, author of The Stories of Devil-Girl
