Ever thought about pitching your “this is going to shatter the glass ceiling” idea to a big tech company, inviting that cutie on Bumble out for mini golf, or asking for a raise at the job you’ve been at for 7+ years and DEFINITELY deserve one… but the idea of rejection made you wince? Same.

But I’m alive. Rejection didn’t kill me. So I’m here to tell the tale of how I cope with rejection professionally and walk you through several celeb stories - and how we wouldn’t be able to experience their genre-changing art or mind-bending music or industry-leading apps if they let rejection deter them.

You’ll hear stories about Britney Spears, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Queen, the founder of Calendly, Tope Awotona, and myself, and how rejection only became fuel to lead us to success.

I also challenge you to reflect on your own experiences with rejection and how they've shaped your path. Remember, sometimes rejection is just redirection to something even better. Corny but true!
