Michael Michele fought early on for the chance to be more than a pretty face on screen and play serious ‘cops, docs and lawyers’ in gritty and serious TV dramas including Homicide: Life on the Streets, ER and Law and Order. Now as Dominique Deverauex on The CW’s reboot of Dynasty, Michele says she can be outlandish, have fun and be over-the-top in a role that Diahann Carroll envisioned as the “first black bitch on television.”
