In my recent interview on Hot Radio Maine’s Hot Mornings, I had the pleasure of chatting with Tinashe about her latest album, Quantum Baby. We also celebrated the success of her single "Nasty," which reached #1 on rhythm radio this week. Reflecting on her journey, Tinashe shared the differences between having a hit song while signed to a label and experiencing that success as an independent artist.
Tinashe and I also reminisced about her performing at the first-ever Hot Radio Maine Hotshow 10 years ago, a memory that sparked a lot of nostalgia. She heads out on her new World Tour in October and will make a stop in Boston on 11/6.
We also dove into her thoughts on relationships, where she pointed out some key red flags to watch out for. I asked her about any TV shows she’d like to make a cameo on, and she told me in her words "the way life should be."
