God's rewards are not free...they're earned

I know the title of this podcast topic alone is going to 'drive' most 'feely' (i.e. emotionally led) Believers 'over the edge'! Many of God's people (foolishly) think that it's selfish or arrogant to think about the rewards that are available for faithful Believers! A lot of Believers sanctimoniously cry out... "It's NOT righteous to seek after rewards!" Well if that was true...and it's NOT...then Yeshua Christ might be a teacher of unrighteousness because He commanded God's people to STORE UP treasures (i.e. those biblical things that please the Father) in heaven! I believe that IF more of God's people were LESS concerned about hanging onto their earthly stuff...and more concerned about DOING those (heavenly) things that please the Father...both the Church...and this world would be in a much 'better place' then they are in now!
