Ice Spice has gained a tremendous amount of mainstream attention and success. But publicly, some people believe that she is only successful because of her skin tone. Someone random person on the internet sparked up the conversation, and from there, many people chimed in. The idea of Colorism in music came up in the online discussion. The artist Flo Milli came up as the comparison to Ice Spice, as some believe that Flo Milli should be where Ice Spice is, but because of colorism, she isn’t.
