James Smith, 41, is a longtime geek who earned his MSW in 2017. After working as a caseworker at the Harris Center in Houston, Texas, he has moved to Nebraska to be closer to family and is currently working on earning his licensure at Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska. He began the trail to geekdom over 30 years ago with the original Dragonlance trilogy and has been hooked on virtually anything geeky since. He hopes to earn his Geek Therapist certification and to use it one day in practice, bringing together his love of RPGs with his passion for therapy!
