After moving 15 times through five southern states, Dea Irby, serial entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, and award-winning author, knows the value of belonging and is on a mission to share her message. A former tearoom owner and operator, Dea published a cookbook, A Dollop and A Pinch: Recipes and Stories from The Baron York. She is a realtor, collector of puns, world traveler, and a Lover of Truth. Dea and her husband of 48 years, currently live in Durham, NC, have 8 grown children, and 19 grandchildren. Along with her real estate business, Dea works with leaders to build a culture of belonging through her magnetic leadership strategy called C.L.A.I.M.
