Later, a local staging of the play Moon for the Misbegotten by three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Eugene O’Neill. The four-act drama is a sequel set 11 years after his landmark Long Day’s Journey Into Night. We talk to the theater’s artistic director about tackling the playwright’s final tragic drama and why the 1943 play remains relevant to audiences today.
