Welcome back to Film Haven Reviews!!! This week we are starting a brand new theme called "Giallo Masters" or "Masters of Giallo" one of those! And we are starting off with the very famous Argento classic, Deep Red (1975).
A tale of two movies, this film both impressed me greatly and disappointed me deeply. The cinematography and kills were great, but the sound design and story arc left me heavily wanting. I gave this film a 7/10 for providing an uneven, but overall satisfying experience, and showing such incredible craft when it comes to the the camerawork and practical effects.
