A Stoic wants to live well— and living well means dying well, too. A Stoic lives well through having a good character, and death is the final test of it. - Seneca
This very well could be the most meaningful podcast I've ever recorded. My conversation with Billy Aiton, a former client from CrossFit Scottsdale, was more than just a reminder that life is fragile. He shows us, shows me that every second counts.
This is coming from a man who's been given 60 days to live as of the recording of this episode. And as much as I don't want to see a friend leave this life to soon, the reality is he's facing his mortality.
But if you listen closely, you'll hear the will to live in every sentence he speaks. When he talks about his kids and how proud he is of them, you can't help but want to be like him.
To those who know Billy, I pray this episode encapsulates the man you love. I hope it inspires you to hear your dad, husband, brother, and friend speak and be so thankful for you. He loves you.
In my line of work, I get the privilege of meeting so many people who inspire and motivate the world. Billy may very well be at the top of the list.
Billy Aiton, I love you and am grateful I got this distinct opportunity to sit down with a friend and have a conversation far beyond us both. Let's keep Fighting, my brother!
We Love you, Billy…
