Glenn Sanford, Founder, CEO and Chairman of eXp World Holdings, hosts eXpansion, a weekly podcast about #ProfessionalDevelopment and #PersonalGrowth, with eXp Realty ICON agents. On this week's episode, Glenn sits down with Dylan Nonaka, an ICON agent out of Kailua Kona, Hawaii to talk about how he rapidly grew his real estate business.

Dylan was born and raised on his family's Coffee farm in South Kona and graduated from Konawaena High School in 1999. Shortly after graduation, he joined the United State Marine Corps. He deployed to Iraq in 2003 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and was part of the first American forces to cross the Kuwait/Iraq border and enter Baghdad later in the campaign. Dylan returned to the Big Island to attend UH Hilo and graduated with honors in 2007, double majoring in Political Science and Economics. While attending college, his mother, who had gotten into Real Estate 5 years prior, encouraged him to get his Hawaii Real Estate Salesperson License. After graduating from UH HIlo, Dylan served in appointed positions in the State and County Government, working directly for the Governor as a community liaison and as Chief of Staff at the Honolulu City Council. He later served as Executive Director for the Hawaii Republican Party and consultant to numerous political campaigns from the county to the national level. In 2015 Dylan returned to the family business of Real Estate and quickly became a company top producer. He obtained his Hawaii Real Estate Brokers license in 2018. Dylan currently serves as Broker in Charge and Team Leader for The Agency Team Hawaii brokered by eXp Realty. The team has over 100 agents across the Big Island, Maui and Oahu and was the #1 Team in Hawaii according to Real Trends National rankings in 2021 and 2022. Dylan continues to serve in the armed forces as an Engineer Officer in the US Army Reserve. He resides in Kealakekua with his wife Monica and his two sons DJ and Mason.
