A recent survey conducted anonymously among mothers studies why adult children cut ties with their parents. The topic is very interesting as I myself have a similar circumstance with my own parents and have dealt with these issues for a number of years. The data is very informative and sheds light on the why and explains the misconceptions between parents and their children.

After years of reflection I can say I have identified some of the aspects that may have caused these rifts between myself and my parents, perhaps some of them are relatable.
