The Thackray Museum of Medicine is the largest independent medical museum in the UK, with tens of thousands of artefacts showing the progression of healthcare through the years.

But the building itself has its own story to share, having been used as a workhouse and an infirmary before becoming the museum it is today.

And perhaps that’s the reason why the Thackray Museum is rumoured to be haunted?
