The objectives of MTP are to reduce the time and cost to integrate distributed process and reliability assets and equipment, help accelerate time to market, simplify fulfillment of individualized customer requirements, and improve scalability and flexibility. As MTP continues to evolve, organizations will benefit from interoperability between DCS systems and PLC systems, and asset management for monitoring your assets' health using a variety of available smart digital apps.
