2025 Global Business Services (GBS) Survey Insights, Part I: Expansion, Locations, and Evolving Models

Based on responses from more than 2,000 executives, Deloitte's Global Business Services (GBS) Survey highlights how GBS organizations are expanding their scope, reshaping delivery models, and exploring new locations.

In the first episode of our two-part series, we explore the key trends shaping the next chapter of Global Business Services. Survey results show that more than half of GBS organizations are planning to expand their footprint, driven by new functions and market demands. While India, the USA, and Poland remain the top destinations, Portugal is emerging as a strong contender on the global map. We also discuss how mature organizations are evolving their models, balancing in-house shared services centers and outsourcing to maximize value.
