The executive order outlines a broad interpretation of last year’s landmark Supreme Court ruling that gay and transgender employees are covered by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This prohibits discrimination “because of sex.” Conservative and liberal groups are in agreement on a topic because of the broad interpretation of the phrase “because of sex.” The Biden administration’s interpretation has obliterated the work of many women’s rights activists.
According to the executive order from the White House, “Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.” Biden erased women with this executive order by calling for “all persons” to “receive equal treatment under the law, no matter their gender identity or sexual orientation.” in other words, your biological sex does not matter, it is what gender you want to be that matters.
