In episode 66, Genny shared her experience about a retreat she took to Moon Gate Guest House, where she needed to get away; to withdraw into herself and find some clarity. She also spoke about the owners, Jenny and Michel Dupas, who created this soul nurturing place where you “disconnect” from the busy world and grow, heal, and “connect” with yourself and Mother Earth.

In episode 71, Genny shared that her biggest joy from that time at Moon Gate Guest House was meeting the owners, Jenny and Michel Dupas. And she had an opportunity to speak with Jenny Dupas about why they created Moon Gate Guest House. Jenny said they felt that people were disconnected from nature, and that they needed to immerse themselves in something different. As soon as they put that out to the universe, the signs appeared and everything flowed from there.

They chose the name Moon Gate because, as Jenny explained, the moon is feminine energy. It’s much softer, more caring, more nurturing, and so manifesting a name for that opened a space for people to experience that feminine energy. The “gate” came from a vision that Michel had one night, where he saw a gate, and he knew instinctively that an opening or a portal was created. They believe that this portal allows people to come and connect with the land, with themselves and with Mother Nature.
