In this line by line analysis of his essay I discuss the concepts outlined therein of “Critical Theory,” color blind auditions, and whether or not we have abandoned a “golden age” of diversity for something worse. Inspired by a conversation thread with @rasmansa and @ETVPod trying to drill down on a definition of "woke-ness" I think there are some issues at play here that both woke and anti-woke miss.
