James is a Wall Street Journal Best-selling author, real estate investor, podcast host, and Principal and Head of Avison Young’s Tri-State Investment Sales group in New York City.

James, started out right out of college by (as he puts it) lucking into real estate, he had this idea that he might want to be a writer or do improv, but quickly shifted gears once he realized how much he could generate in real estate, not long after getting a job at Massey Knackal (a big real estate firm) he became partner there, and from there he went on to become the head of Avison Young’s Tri-State Investment Sales group. In his 25 year career he has sold more than 500 hundred properties and loans that total over $5 Billion dollars.
