DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT ME TRYING TO BUTCHER THE WHOLE MEANING AND PURPOSE OF THE ORIGINAL DECLARATION, BUT RATHER SYNTHESIZING IT TO MODERN TIMES WHERE WE FACE THE SAME STRUGGLE THAT OUR FOREFATHERS HAVE FOUGHT BRAVELY. So this is our Declaration of Independence to Rodrigo Duterte who brings us only problematic solutions. We pledged our allegiance to the state and not to the one sitting at the top of the government. Taken from the original Declaration but with a whole new meaning. Listen and fight!
