Dr. Wilson Chen is the only dentist in Canada to hold the Certified Financial Planner and Financial Management Advisor designations. He is a partner and lead financial planner at the Wyndham Group, a full service Wealth Management and Financial Advisory Group. The team operates as part of Raymond James Ltd. – one of the largest independent investment firms in Canada. Dr. Chen graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Western University in 1992 and began a 22 year career building a successful dental practice in Hamilton, Ontario. In 2003, Wilson branched out on a related path. Drawing from a blend of specialized financial knowledge and hands-on dental experience, he started working with dentists to identify personal goals and develop real life financial strategies for their families and their businesses. In 2014, Wilson sold his dental practice to take on a full-time management and financial planning role with the Wyndham Group. Wilson’s financial articles appear regularly in major dental publications. He also lectures on business planning, relationship building and personal financial strategies.
