Ep 7: The Inanimate Consciousness

In this episode, my cousin Mike and I attempt to discover the meaning of consciousness. We attempt to do this through the lens of a video game called Detroit Become Human. In it, you follow multiple characters through branching paths as they attempt to discover what it truly means to be alive. Are machines any less alive because we created them? How would you define life? Does it have to be an actual living breathing soul? Or can we create life even more advanced than ourselves? I know this sounds heavy for a video game, and it is.
