Jen Huang is a wedding & portrait photographer based in Santa Barbara, California. A medium format film photographer, she describes her work as “understated yet evocative, resulting from clear and polished creative direction that elicits light-filled, painterly portraits. “ Jen has been featured on the cover of Harper's Bazaar, Brides Magazine, The Boston Globe and many more. She’s received numerous accolades, and has also been named a top photographer by Martha Stewart Weddings. Much of her time is devoted to educating photographers; she was recently a featured speaker at both WPPI and Photo Native. In this interview we chat about shooting film and her portraiture guidebooks. We also touch on some of her recent workshop topics including ‘The Power Of Introverts’.
