Chinese autonomous driving company Pony AI has filed for an IPO with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, signaling growing investor interest in the IPO market. While Pony AI’s revenue nearly doubled in the first half of 2024, the company remains unprofitable. It boasts over 250 self-driving taxis with more than 33.5 million kilometers driven autonomously.

Meanwhile, U.S. tech giants Amazon and Google have announced investments in nuclear energy to meet the growing power demands of their data centers. They view nuclear power as a clean, scalable energy source that helps reduce carbon emissions.

Meta has partnered with Hollywood studio Blumhouse Productions to test its new AI film generation model, Movie Gen. This collaboration highlights Meta’s willingness to work with the creative industry while addressing concerns around AI copyright and consent.
