9 to 5 Faith

Felicity Buddig shares her personal journey of faith, which was a painful but transformative one. She talks about being born and raised Catholic, but not practicing until God put her on a difficult journey that led to her growing her relationship with God over the past seven to eight years. Felicity also discusses her experience as a survivor of domestic abuse and how she made a promise to God to build a community for women to turn to for support and guidance on their own transformational journey. She talks about the importance of having a community that accepts diversity and the challenge of speaking openly about her faith in a culture that has made it uncomfortable for Christians to do so. Felicity also shares how she raises her blended family with her husband and 15-year-old son who is going through his own journey of faith, how they listen to Christian music and radio, and how she starts her day early with personal prayer, asking God to grace her with his excellence and shape her according to his vision. The road was hard, dark, incredibly painful but I was never once abandoned he walked beside me the entire time, he was my strength , my resiliency, he kept pushing me even when I wanted to give in. I owe all of this what I am doing to the Lord. Did I mention I am a writer, speaker, author and mentor, coach for midlife women.
