Adjusting to change can be easy
I get why you might think that change can't be easy, most people believe "change is hard". I mean just look at the number of people who say that all the time
But what if I told you that, that is the very thing making change hard & causing all of your emotional and mental distress?
That's because when we repeatedly think thoughts... they eventually become beliefs
And once a thought becomes a belief, it becomes the lens at which you see everything through
In fact, your brain will actually scan your environment on a daily basis to LOOK FOR PROOF and evidence that supports your beliefs
And what your brain will often do when it comes to change is it will compare the way things are now to the way things used to be
Which to the brain, who's #1 job is to keep things predictable, change is UNKNOWN which means it's not safe
If you are tired of experiencing a panic attack every time you experience change, then you've got to be willing to look at the phrases you are telling yourself & the way that is creating the lens in which you are perceiving change
