As leader and founder of Caregiver’s Haven, Saundra has devoted most of her adult life to reaching out to others being challenged with the responsibility of providing care for those with a brain illness diagnosis. She shares her lived experiences by providing education, resources and support/coaching for other family caregivers who are stressed, scared and exhausted and don’t know where to go for help. Her goal is to empower family caregivers to care for their loved ones and utilize self-care strategies. She helps them to take care of themselves so that they can take better care of those that they love.

In addition to helping family caregivers, she also provides coaching for anyone wanting to co-create action steps for meaningful changes in their life related to their health, wellbeing and happiness.

Professionally, she’s worked as a Registered Nurse for 40+ years caring for others, but really, she’s been a caregiver since the age of ten when her Mom suffered a traumatic brain injury. Throughout time she’s found herself in the role of caregiver to several family members who have a brain illness diagnosis, and she shares her experiences and knowledge through seminars, coaching, speaking and Caregivers Haven Podcast. Saundra is a National conference speaker.

As a lifetime caregiver, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sibling, Auntie and Registered Nurse, she’s committed to sharing her compassion for people by supporting them in their caregiving journey.
