How the left is secretly replacing our electoral college to replace it with a National Popular Vote. Conservatives have been pushing the Convention of States for decades but the difference between the progressive’s popular vote movement and the conservatives movement is the Convention of States is in article V of the constitution and the other is not, I’ll let you guess which one isn’t.
NPVIC: (National Popular Vote Interstate Compact)
•Purpose: The NPVIC aims to ensure that the candidate who receives the most votes nationwide becomes the President of the United States, effectively bypassing the traditional Electoral College system without the need for a constitutional amendment.

•Mechanism: States that join the compact agree to award all their electoral votes to the candidate who wins the national popular vote, regardless of the state’s own vote results. However, the compact only takes effect once the participating states collectively hold a majority of electoral votes (at least 270 out of 538).
