He doesn’t focus a lot on the monetizing part as he believes that podcasting is a creative outlet for him. When he started, he didn’t overthink the process and simply recorded the episodes on his phone.

Abhay hosts a storytelling podcast and his secret sauce is that he doesn’t follow any particular frameworks. He narrates the story as he talks to a friend. He also shares that he doesn’t try too hard and sticks to a colloquial language which helps the audience to relate to him.

Rohit and Abhay discuss how both of them aren’t from media backgrounds but they did work hard and study the craft on the go. Abhay shares that overthinking the process won’t help. Instead, it’s better to jump into it and enjoy the journey.

Abhay Maheshwari is a Podcaster-storyteller-coach-public speaker. He is a multi-hyphenate who pursues podcasting as a passion project. Over the years has been featured by leading platforms such as Spotify, JioSaavn; storytelling collectives such as Kommune. In 2022, he was recognized among the top 5 Next Big Creators in the Indian digital audio space.

He also delivered a TEDx talk on the importance of storytelling in daily life.
