He is an international leader in underground sound meditation, utilizing his skilled instrumental repertoire to create space for people to find themselves and transcend nature, technology, music, and the human experience. As a trailblazer in the international wellness movement, he’s guided students through a brain-body approach aimed towards non-religious spirituality and has conducted retreats at the Esalen Institute, Google, and Johns Hopkins Neuroaesthetics Project.

In this show, East shares with Lee how the intersection of music, altered states, and meditation helped him with depression and what led him to being interested in exploring our 'inner space' where we can access healing. They discuss the movement of new consciousness in music, what it was like to work on an album with Ram Dass and being in service to that.
