My favourite part of this is the sound design.

This is from a Blagger’s about the music of Los Angeles, and specifically The Doors, of whom David Quantick is not a huge fan.

[Hello, I Love You] Was essentially a flouncy remake of All Day and All of The Night sung by a merrygoround. And fame went to Jim’s head. He wrote poetry. He told people he was a lizard. He got Little Jim out onstage. And he gave rise to a whole school of rock-liking that says rock stars have to be leather-pantied poets who want to be lizards. And, according to this ludicrously unconvincing audio tape, was a bad thing.
