What if you stayed this weight forever

I know your struggle.
You are working on your weight. On losing weight.

And in this struggle, you are in a fairly constant battle with yourself.
Staying the same weight as you are now… is not an option for you.

So, you push and pull and fight and hate, hoping you can change yourself.

But what if, just imagine, that no one could ever lose any weight at all. No one could gain, and no one, including you, could lose.

Would you feel compelled to still hate yourself?
Or would you put down your weapons and relax?

That does not mean you’d keep overeating and abuse your body.
It means, in fact, that without the focus on losing weight, you’d most likely ease into self-acceptance and love.

And that would probably mean you’d eat better.
Take better care of yourself.
And manage all those unsettling emotions.

Let’s use the fantasy of ‘no more weight loss ever’ to find a way to be compassionate to yourself right now. Not in the future when the number on the scale was lower. Now.

And guess what? That will probably help you release some extra weight!
