Good morning, Washington! This is your Weather Whisper bringing you the latest atmospheric adventures for the week ahead.
Today, we're looking at a chilly start with sunny skies and a high near 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Those northwest winds will be dancing around 7 to 10 miles per hour, with gusts that might just ruffle your jacket up to 23 miles per hour. So grab that light coat and enjoy the crisp sunshine!
Tonight, expect a clear sky with temperatures dropping down to a brisk 24 degrees Fahrenheit. It'll be so calm outside, even the tree branches will be taking a nap.
Monday brings more sunshine with temperatures climbing to a mild 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Those winds will be playing it cool, barely whispering across the city.
Tuesday is where things get interesting! We're looking at partly sunny skies and a spring-teasing high of 59 degrees Fahrenheit. But hold onto your umbrellas, because Tuesday night brings a 40 percent chance of rain after 1 am.
Wednesday is our wet wild card - we're talking a 100 percent chance of showers and possibly some thunderstorm drama after 1 pm. Temperatures will peak around a warm 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
As we roll into Thursday and Friday, we'll see a mix of partly sunny and mostly sunny conditions with temperatures hovering in the low to mid 50s. Saturday might bring a 30 percent chance of rain to keep things interesting.
