“The Power of Prayer and Fasting: Why We Must Do It”

There is incredible power in the biblical practice of prayer and fasting. Jesus tells us that it can help us find the spiritual breakthrough we’ve been seeking. It is so important for Christians to fast so we can weaken our flesh and build our spirit man.
Mark 9:14-29 tells us about a time when the disciples were unable to cast a demon out of a boy. When Jesus arrived, He cast out the spirit, and the boy was set free and healed. His disciples did not understand why they had power to perform some miracles but not this one: “And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?” So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”
Fasting demonstrates the depth of your desires when praying for something. It shows you that you are serious enough about your prayer request to pay a personal price. God honors deep desire and praying in faith. Doesn’t is awaken you when certain chapters are now being removed from the Bible such as Matthew 17:21???? The enemy knows the power of prayer and fasting. Even the dark side fast when they want to call up strong demonic spirits, yet so many people lack this knowledge.
When the problems in the world overwhelms you and you see all this brokenness of the world around you, let the urgency lead you to spend time hearing God’s voice through prayer and fasting. Let it lead you to seek Him in an even greater way. It sad to see that God is giving us so many signs and many people eyes are still close.
Look at what happened in Dubai???? All that money and they still could not stop the rain….it’s raining 🌧️ all around us and just like the days of Noah…the Ark is still being built so those who think they have so much time will keep doubting but it does not stop the rain from falling. God is giving us chances after chances and many are not taking heed. Remember once you’re gone it’s no second chances. Stop chasing the wind 💨 I was once being lied to by the devil but God gave me a second chance and he is using me to speak to you so you can listen or you can keep living in sin. He gives us all free will so choose wisely. I will keep praying for y’all🙏💕
