Veterans In Politics returns for season 2 kicking off with Ruth Davidson MSP!
Ruth served in the Territorial Army before having to leave on medical grounds following an accident during Officer Selection. She details this incident in this episode and the lasting impact this had on her. But Ruth is better known for being a politician, and not just any politician, but a former Leader of the Scottish Conservatives, who many have tipped for Leader of the UK Conservatives, or even a future Prime Minister.
In this episode, Ruth talks about her military past and present, the Scottish Independence question and about that question of leadership, not just her own, but of the example seen in others during the times that we're living in.

Our host Jonny first met Ruth on a mental health symposium with a global brand, where Jonny was a panellist and Ruth the chair.
