Veterans In Politics- Season 2, Episode 3 with Caroline Henry
Caroline 'followed the flag' with her husband's career in the RAF as a service spouse. You may have heard of her husband, Darren Henry MP, guest of season 1! But like this episode, now is Caroline's turn, as she is standing up to serve as a Police & Crime Commissioner in her home patch of Nottinghamshire, a place she always vowed to return home to after service family life.
Caroline and Jonny talk about the importance of not overlooking the value of military spouses and the sacrifices they so often make for their other half and for the country. It is fantastic to see Caroline putting herself forward to serve in this way and it will no doubt inspire other service spouses.

To quote Jonny, he was 'smoozed' at Conservative Party Conference by Caroline, and they have become firm friends since. He was impressed by her then, and it came as no surprise to hear about her putting herself forward for elected office.
