On the second installment of True Crime New England's spooky-themed episodes for the month of October, Katie and Liz take a short walk on the paranormal side of true crime. The haunts of this story take place on a small island off the coast of Biddeford, Maine, where a bizarre history may continue to take a toll on visitors to this day. One fateful day in 1896, a drunk fisherman who was renting a living space on Wood Island ended up shooting and killing his landlord, a respectable father of three. Due to his regret and shock of the incident, the drunk fisherman turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. To this day, visitors claim that loud moaning can be heard from inside the lighthouse, and that ghostly figures appear around the island.
