One of my roommates from way-back-when told me to reach out to Gregg Deal. Gregg is a contemporary artist and a Native issues activist. He's got tattoos, sometimes wears his hair long, and doesn't do art like your typical Latter-day Saint. But he's also got a thriving temple marriage, five amazing kids, and a relationship with the Savior. He's one of those people who is willing to talk about the hard stuff and also to share real Truth with you. He's had Job-like times in his life; and he's had shining moments. Through it all, Gregg is becoming refined. He's the kind of person that is an instrument in the Lord's hands to do things not all of us are able or willing to do.
