In this week's episode, Northeast president Ricky G. Ford shares a major change to graduation in May (May 12 and May 13 in the Bonner Arnold Coliseum). In addition to the major change to commencement ceremonies, Ford talks about all the events happening in and around Northeast and all that is going on with the college. Northeast athletics is seeing a majority of its sports teams in action this week and early next week with men and women's basketball participating in the Region XXIII Tournament, the baseball and softball teams with a variety of games, the tennis and golf programs taking advantage of the good weather and even the Northeast archery team with its 18 participants scheduling its first Match for Saturday, March 5. Ford reminds those who are interested in applying for the NEMCC Honors Institute that the deadline will fall on March 15 and talks about the college's upcoming Spring Break along with the college sharing its expertise with other colleges and universities across the world such as Pima Community College in Arizona. Ford gives an update on the Creating Futures through Technology Conference on the Mississippi Gulf Coast that Northeast is helping to sponsor and the Mobile Learning Conference that will happen virtually June 13 and June 14.
