#59: This Is Not What I Expected

Sheesh! #1. I'm sick with the flu. #2. My neighbors are moving and I can't avoid their noises. Apologies.
Now, when we envision something, we use our 5 senses. We have an overall sense of what this vision would feel like when it's executed. However, I quickly realized that my feelings were fabricated. When I actually saw everything I envisioned, it did NOT live up to the hype. I didn't feel remotely CLOSE to what I initially thought. It makes you second guess what you're doing and if it actually is the right thing. Instead of second guessing the dream, MAYBE we should second guess our expectation. When something doesn't live up to the hype or the expectation, question WHERE that expectation came from and WHY you feel that way. Where did this preconceived notion come from? How about this? Let it flow. Stop trying to control what it will feel like when you reach success and enjoy where the journey takes you. Be present.
