Ultimately, her journey made her the nurse she is today, committed to paying forward the same kindness she received and educating others to prevent the kind of dismissal she experienced from doctors who said it was all in her head. Mackenzie is passionate about nursing education as she works to empower the next generation of healthcare workers to provide effective patient care. In this inspiring episode, we also learn how she continues to use her voice to educate people on how to advocate best for themselves.
