I’ll keep the Talky Bit description short, because there are several (exciting!) details.
Talky Bit – what happens when an ancient collector of proverbial texts meets a twentieth century German philosopher? Do they have anything in common? When they hang out, what do they talk about? And does any of it pertain to decolonizing religion? Join us on Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m. for Music, Community Time, and a Talky Bit that attempts to answer these burning questions!! We’ll meet online here..
During the Talky Bit time slots on March 21st and 28th, Wally Chartrand (if you’ve been around The Table you already know who Wally is; if not, show up and find out) will be leading us through a two part series on the Indigenous Circle of Life teachings (more commonly known as the Medicine Wheel teachings). The “And Lunch After” hangs for those two weeks will be focused on giving people a chance to share what their experiences and take-away were from the morning. I’ll provide a fuller description closer to the date, but for now mark your calendar and plan to make this a priority if you are able. Wally has shared these teachings with people throughout North American and beyond, and his willingness to share this directly with us is an incredibly generous gift.
