Brendan McGurgan is the co-founder of Simple Scaling and the former group MD of CDE Global. Brendan led a team that grew from 15 people in 2003 to 700 people across the globe by 2020 with offices on every continent and a turnover of nearly £100,000,000.
Born and bred in Portadown, Northern Ireland Brendan qualified as a chartered accountant and began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers before finally joining CDE as Finance Director.
His ability to navigate his teams through the choppy waters of post 9/11 and through the Global Financial Crisis allowed CDE to be recognised by Deloitte as the 'Best Managed Company' and Brendan also gained the personal accolade of 'Overall Director of the Year' by the Institute of Directors in 2016.
Successfully exiting CDE in 2020 allowed Brendan to co-found Simple Scaling, which inspires and enables ambitious leaders to scale with purpose!
