It might not be Wimbledon, or the US Opens, or even the return of the ATP. But guess what? It's probably the next best thing before we get back to ‘proper life’, it's tennus at the Olympic Games.

Oddspedia are here to preview all the tennis at the Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo. Some of the world's best talent will be on show in the Japanese capital, with Novak Djokovic the undoubted favourite to claim the gold medal

Djokovic is looking to complete the perfect year after winning Wimbledon, the French Open and the Australian Open. He won the bronze medal in Beijing and after only three defeats this season he is certainly the favourite, especially with history on his side.

Djokovic’s closest contender is Daniil Medvedev. He can certainly be dangerous on the hard court, having already achieved two title this season in Majorca and Marseille. However, his performances in the Grand Slam this season have been quite disappointing.

Next up is the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas. He can challenge Djokovic for the gold medal in Tokyo having won two titles already in Lyon and Monte Carlo. Despite his first round exit in Wimbledon, he's had some success this season and has odds of 7.0 to win the gold medal.

Alexander Zverev is among the top favourites for the gold medal, however, he will need to beat Djokovic in order to progress to the final. This season he reached the Last 16 at Wimbledon, the semi-finals at Roland Garros and Quarter Finals Down Under in Australia.

Betting preview for the men's tennis event at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo will also be analysing the likes of Andrey Rublev, Félix Auger-Aliassime,

Aslan Karatsev, Karen Khachanov and Fabio Fognini and their chances to challenge for medals.

We’ll also take a look at the Women’s side of the draw, with Naomi Osaka, Ashleigh Barty, Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek all among the leading contenders as usual.

Our resident host Eduardo Siles is back to preview all the best action across the 2020 Olympics Games.

He’s joined by tennis and betting expert Sean Calvert to guide you through the Olympic Games tennis event, previewing all nations involved, with special attention on the key players and nations.

And don’t forget to check our betting tools to discover Sure Bets, Dropping Odds, Value Bets, Blocked Odds and Blocked Matches to give you the upper hand this weekend.
